SB Nation Minnesota's Thursday Night NFL Pick

These Thursday night games are really throwing off what the kids might call my "flow." (Do kids today still say that? Does anybody today still say that?)

↵

Anyway, the rest of our picks will be up later on, but here's our look at the week's first game.

↵

Philadelphia Eagles (-3) at Seattle Seahawks

I'm no Vegas expert or anything, but the Eagles being favored in this one baffles me. They're going to the West Coast on a short week, with no Michael Vick and no Jeremy Maclin. LeSean McCoy will play for the Eagles, and they're going to need him with Vince Young starting at quarterback.

↵

On the other side. . .and I can't believe I'm saying this. . .but even with an injured pectoral muscle, Tarvaris Jackson is the better quarterback tonight. (I know, I'm going to wash my mouth out with soap as soon as this posts.) But after a rough start, Jackson has the Seahawks clawing their way back to being respectable.

In a battle of two 4-7 teams, there aren't a lot of compelling things to talk about. So, let's just get to the pick.
