The Minnesota Vikings won't have to worry about Denver linebacker Von Miller disrupting their offense on Sunday. The Broncos defense has been bolstered lately by the stellar play of the rookie linebacker, but a thumb injury that had Miller questionable all week will now keep him out of the game on Sunday against the Vikings.
According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Miller's thumb injury required surgery
Von Miller is inactive vs. Vikings; was listed as questionable with thumb injury that required surgery to repair torn ligaments, did not practice Wednesday and Thursday, was limited Friday
Miller's absence should be good news for Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder who won't have to account for the rookie while missing a dynamic weapon on his side of the ball in Adrian Peterson.
Here is the week 13 inactive list as announced by the Broncos.
#Broncos inactives: S Rahim Moore, FB Quinn Johnson, LB Mike Mohamed, LB Von Miller, C Manny Ramirez, OT Tony Hills & TE Julius Thomas.
