VIDEO: Jared Allen's Record-Tying Sack

As I mentioned in the earlier update, Jared Allen has tied the all-time NFL record for safeties in a career with four, thanks to his stop of Willis McGahee on Denver’s first offensive play this afternoon.

Well, if you somehow missed it, this is what it looked like.

The unsung hero in this one appears to be defensive tackle Remi Ayodele, who has been pretty invisible this season, but managed to help trap McGahee in the end zone.

Also, we can’t forget the contributions of Chris Kluwe, whose beautiful put put the Broncos in that position in the first place, nor the contributions of Eric Frampton, whose hustle was responsible for putting the punt down at the 1-yard line in the first place.

The play gave the Vikings an early 2-0 lead, but unfortunately, that wouldn’t last long. Stay tuned for our next update to find out more, and keep it here for updates throughout the afternoon.
