Halfway through the first quarter, Christian Ponder found a wide open Mario Haggan for a 16-yard touchdown.
The only problem with this, obviously, is that Ponder plays for the Minnesota Vikings, while Haggan plays for the Denver Broncos.
Here's what it looked like.
Again, a young quarterback is going to do this sort of thing every once in a while. Ponder seems like he's a smart enough quarterback to not let this sort of thing happen too many more times. But yes, this was a pretty awful throw by Ponder. To be honest, I'm not really sure who it is he was going for.
It has been an interesting start for the Vikings and the Broncos this afternoon at the Metrodome. We've had another score, and we'll let you know exactly what happened here in just a moment. Thank you for making SB Nation Minnesota your home for updates on this Sunday afternoon.
