After the Denver Broncos' offense spent most of the first half asleep, they came out with a vengeance in the second half of play.
After a 17-yard completion from Tim Tebow to Eric Decker, the Broncos ran it right through the heart of the Vikings' defense, with Willis McGahee powering up the middle for 34 yards on four carries, and Lance Ball converted a 3rd-and-1 for Denver to keep a drive alive.
The scoring play came on a 21-yard pass from Tebow to Demariyus Thomas on a play in which the Vikings completely blew coverage. Cedric Griffin apparently thought he was going to have help over the top from a safety, and the help never arrived as Thomas was wide open for the score. The extra point cut the Minnesota lead to one point, 15-14.
