Couldn't Get Into The Super Bowl? The Minnesota Lynx Have Your Back

In case you've been under a rock this week, there were upwards of 400 fans who had tickets to the Super Bowl, but couldn't get in because the section they were supposed to sit in wasn't ready. They've become magnets for public sympathy, despite the incredible compensation package they were offered by the NFL.

And because that isn't enough apparently, the Minnesota Lynx have offered to sweeten the pot, according to USA Today

The WNBA franchise says it will offer those fans two free premium lower-level tickets to their 2011 home opener against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 5. The Lynx also promise "the ultimate red carpet treatment" that includes a message from players, an on-court presentation and concession vouchers.

You get to Minnesota, and the Lynx will put you courtside. Sounds fair to me. Those fans must not have heard about this before they decided to bring a lawsuit to the NFL. If they had, I think they'd be ready to put this whole thing to bed.
