Swarm's Zach Greer Traded to Rush

According to SBNation’s own In Lax We Trust, the Minnesota Swarm have traded forward Zach Greer to the Edmonton Rush in exchange for a 2013 first round draft pick.

Greer recently tweeted that he had experienced a near death experience in an automobile accident. It looks like he will get to celebrate his new found love of life in Edmonton.

The man who broke the story, Mike Wilson, is not a fan of the trade, saying:

Just what we need, another under achieving forward. The NCAA’s All-time leading scorer only put up 23 points last season in 13 games. This season, he has put up 10 points in 4 games. Underwhelming.

↵

Another thing, they gave up way more then they needed do to get him. He is not worth a first rounder.

Being that a draft pick is involved, we’ll have to wait awhile to see who the winner of this trade is.
