2011 NFL Mock Draft: Weekly Mock Draft Roundup

It's Monday, which means it's once again time to take another tour around these vast interwebs of ours and take a look at who some of the experts are projecting the Minnesota Vikings to be selecting in the 2011 NFL Draft. We're a mere month away from the festivities at Radio City Music Hall, and the rumors are beginning to fly fast and furious.

As always, we'll start with the 2011 NFL Mock Draft from the folks at the SB Nation mothership here. In their most recent edition of the mock draft, they have Minnesota taking a player that they've projected to the Vikings several times before in North Carolina defensive end Robert Quinn.

The Vikings are an interesting team this year, even though there aren't a lot of different directions they can take. If an elite edge rusher fell into their laps, like Quinn, they'd be hard-pressed to pass - even with solid players at the position.

With a defense like Minnesota's that relies so much on pressure from its front four, a player like Quinn would be a welcome addition to Fred Pagac's squad. Even with the signing of Brian Robison to a new contract, one would think that Quinn would probably be the starter at the left end spot that Ray Edwards is likely going to remove himself from as soon as he's able.

As the week progresses, we'll have some more mock drafts for your perusal. Be sure to keep checking back at SB Nation Minnesota to get the updates as soon as they happen!
