It sounds like Kevin Love won’t be packing it in for the rest of the season after all.
↵ESPN 1500 is reporting that Love fully participated in practice today.
↵“Feel great,” Love said after practice. “Most likely, all systems are a go. But that extra game rest really helped me. I feel if it doesn’t tighten up on me, if I don’t feel pain like I have the past three games, I should be a go (Wednesday).”
↵The reports of Kurt Rambis saying that Love might out the rest of the season were apparently incredibly exaggerated—by Rambis.
↵Love chalked up the story as “Kurt being Kurt”. He explained, “I missed these (past) three games, I’d like to get back on the court and it never crossed my mind I was going to sit out the rest of the season. I just couldn’t do that. I love the game too much and I couldn’t stay away from it.”
↵It’s nice to see that the Timberwolves aren’t slapping a Lake-of-the-Woods-sized stamp on their season and mailing it in the rest of the way, like their hockey-playing Minnesota counterparts seem to be. Even with Love back, the Wolves would shock the world with a win in either of their next two games. Minnesota hosts the Eastern Conference-leading Chicago Bulls tomorrow night at the Target Center. On Friday, the T-Wolves welcome in LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and the Heat.
