Always wanted to check out a Swarm game, but don't want to commit to the point of buying a ticket without seeing the product? You're in luck. This Saturday, April 2nd, the Swarm vs Calgary Roughnecks game will be broadcast locally on KSTC, Channel 45 at 6PM.
The game is part of "Hockey Night at the Hive," due to the game immediately following a Minnesota Wild game at the X at 1PM. The Swarm, unlike the Wild, are set to clinch a playoff spot on Saturday, and the game should be a good one. According to the press release, the Swarm are also sponsoring a pub crawl between the Wild and Swarm games in the local establishments near the X.

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm (5-6) today announced its Saturday, April 2 contest against the Calgary Roughnecks (9-3) on Treasure Island Field at Xcel Energy Center will air LIVE on KSTC-TV Channel 45 at 6 p.m. CDT. Saturday is also a doubleheader at Xcel Energy Center as the National Hockey League's (NHL) Minnesota Wild face the Tampa Bay Lightning at 1 p.m.
"We are excited to continue our partnership with Channel 45," said Minnesota Swarm Co-Owner and Vice President Andy Arlotta. "This Saturday's broadcast is another step forward in our mission to increase the exposure of lacrosse in Minnesota."
In-between the Minnesota Swarm and Minnesota Wild doubleheader, there will be a Coors Light pub crawl and downtown bar and restaurant promotions. The crawl will kick off at The Liffey, followed by McGovern's, Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub and Eagle Street Bar & Grill.
Early arriving fans for "Hockey Night at the Hive" will receive thunderstix and fans are encouraged to wear their hockey jerseys to the game, as special guests will be chosen to compete in a hockey themed halftime contest. The turf will come up following the Swarm game for "Cheap-Skate," allowing fans to skate on the ice for a special ticket price of $25.
