Being fans here in Minnesota, you have to ask yourself, why should I care? You are more than welcome to grab the golf clubs and hit the course. However, the disturbance in the force will not settle itself. Wild fans need to band together to counter the fact that the Canucks are the top seed in the West.
No one wants them to win outside of Vancouver. Don’t be that guy.
Also, and more realistically, this is the best time of the year for NHL hockey. If you deny yourself the pleasure of playoff hockey simply because the Wild aren’t involved, you are giving up an awful lot for a team that gave you nothing in return.
It is your birthright to watch the best hockey in the world. This is the best hockey in the world, don’t deny yourself the privilege. Set aside your petty anger and watch as rivalries are born, disgusting goals are scored, and the Cup is awarded.
You were born to watch hockey.
