Vikings at Titans: Tennessee Takes 7-0 Lead Late In First Half

After going through the first quarter and most of the second quarter with no points, the Tennessee Titans have dented the scoreboard against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings appeared to be rolling on their third drive of the evening behind quarterback Joe Webb (who came in for Donovan McNabb after McNabb played the first two drives) and running back Lorenzo Booker. However, after getting into Tennessee territory, Booker put one on the turf, and it was recovered by the Titans.

The Titans struck one play later when their quarterback, Jake Locker, fumbled the snap, picked it up, and rolled out to the right. He then launched one towards Yamon Figurs, who was wide open after Minnesota cornerback Chris Cook got caught looking into the backfield after the botched snap. The play covered 45 yards, and gave the Titans a 7-0 lead after the Rob Bironas extra point.

The Vikings have just taken the ensuing kickoff, and will take over at their own 28-yard line with Webb behind center again.
