Twins And Indians Postponed By Rain

The Minnesota Twins did not lose on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland.

Of course, they didn't win, either.

Sunday's game between the Indians and the Twins was postponed in the top of the third inning due to rain in Cleveland.  When the game was delayed, the Indians had a 1-0 lead in the top of the third inning, and Delmon Young was looking at a 1-1 count with nobody out.

No make-up date has been announced for the game at this point in time. The Twins have one remaining trip to Cleveland this season, their final road series of 2011, which will take place from September 23-25.

The Twins will continue their road trip tomorrow, as they open up a three-game set at Comerica Park against the American League Central-leading Detroit Tigers. First pitch from Detroit is scheduled for 6:05 PM Central time. The Tigers will send right-hander Rick Porcello (11-7, 4.93 ERA), while the Twins will counter with left-hander Francisco Liriano (7-9, 5.00 ERA).
