Delmon Young Traded To Detroit

The Minnesota Twins finally made a trade, and it looks like they will no longer need to employ a welder in the process?

↵

A welder? yeah, because that’s how Delmon Young’s glove was repaired.

↵

Young, a guy who will never…ever…win a Gold Glove, was traded to the Tigers for LHP Cole Nelson and a player to be named later.

↵

Wait, the Twins got TWO players for Young, when it looked like he was going to play out his contract and not be back? Really?

↵

Really. According to 1500 ESPN, Young found out about the trade as the Twins team bus was heading to Comerica park, to face his new team. Presumably, when the team turns right down the tunnel, he’ll turn left.

↵

Let’s hope he doesn’t get lost, like Spinal Tap did.

↵

Good luck, Delmon.  And if you make a great, diving catch to save a run or win a game, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna throw up.
