Twins starter Scott Baker, who has already spent time on the DL this season due to a flexor muscle issue, may be heading back again, as he says he’s feeling discomfort in the same are.
↵According to Joe Christenson of the Star Tribune, after the loss to the Red Sox, where Baker gave up 5 runs in 6 innings, Baker said:
↵↵↵I have no problem pitching with some discomfort as long as it’s something that’s not going to get worse," Baker said. "I’m OK being a little sore, but if you’re not effective because of it, then that’s a different story. So we’ve got some things to talk through.

That doesn’t sound promising, and the Twins season just continues to unravel.
