Kevin Love and the Minnesota Timberwolves were red-hot in the first half against the San Antonio Spurs, and they lead 66-59 at the break.
Love leads Minnesota with 15 points on 6-8 shooting, and the power forward has also drained 3-4 three rebounds and has collected 7 rebounds. Starting at point guard, Luke Ridnour is 5-5 shooting for 11 points along with 5 assists, and starting small forward Wesley Johnson is 4-4 from the field with 9 points.
Rookie and second overall draft pick Derrick Williams is 3-3 shooting for 7 points off the bench, while Ricky Rubio has 7 points and 3 assists in 9 minutes off the bench at the break.
The only thing that has kept this from being a blowout is that Minnesota has not been able to stop San Antonio either. Richard Jefferson has made 4-5 three pointers and leads the Spurs with 16 at halftime.
