Spurs Vs. Timberwolves Final Score: Minnesota Wins 106-96 At Home Versus San Antonio

This is why some people are so excited about the future of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

A balanced and formidable offense carried the Timberwolves to a 106-96 win over the San Antonio Spurs at the Target Center on Monday night.

The Timberwolves, who had racked up 94 points through three quarter, shot 57.7 % from the field and cruised to the win thanks to on-point shooting performances by a number of their crown players.

Kevin Love made 4-9 three pointers and led the way for Minnesota with 24 points and 15 rebounds, while Wesley Johnson shot a perfect 6-6 from the field for 14 points and Luke Ridnour hit for 19 points on 7-10 shooting. Derrick Williams shot 3-3 off the bench for 7 points as the Timberwolves could hardly miss until the fourth quarter, when they only scored 12 points.

The Timberwolves stay on the road for two more games, first against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday and then against Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, before returning home to host the Washington Wizards on Sunday.
