Both the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers will aim to put an end to different types of losing streaks when they meet at the Target Center in Minneapolis on Sunday.

Something will have to give, as the Timberwolves have dropped 15 straight game to the Lakers, while the Lakers have dropped four straight road games.

Minnesota has won five of seven overall, including wins on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks, and most recently at home over the San Antonio Spurs. Ricky Rubio has reached double digits in assists four straight games, and the point guard is also averaging 14.5 points per game in that four-game span, teaming with Kevin Love to form one of the most dynamic inside-outside tandems in the NBA.

The Lakers are coming off a 100-89 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night, which saw them fall to 1-7 on the road. Los Angeles' only road win was in overtime against the Utah Jazz on Jan. 11

The game is set to tip off at 7:00 p.m. eastern.
