The defending WNBA champions are well represented on the 2012 All-WNBA teams. The Minnesota Lynx have three players represented, as Seimone Augustus was named to the All-WNBA First-Team, while Maya Moore and Lindsay Whalen were named to the All-WNBA Second-Team.
Augustus averaged 16.6 points per game during the regular season for the Lynx, while averaging 3.6 rebounds and dishing out 2.5 assists per game. 2012 is Augustus's seventh year in the WNBA, and she has spent her entire WNBA career with the Lynx.
In her second season with the Lynx, Moore averaged 16.4 points per game, while averaging six rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. Moore was selected with the No. 1 overall pick out of the University of Connecticut in the 2011 WNBA Draft.
Whalen, like her Lynx All-WNBA teammates, also averaged double figures in scoring, averaging 11.5 points per game. Whalen also averaged 5.4 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game in 2012.
The Minnesota Lynx are looking to repeat as WNBA champions, and will play host to the Indiana Fever in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals on Wednesday night.
