The Minnesota Lynx defeated the Indiana Fever 83-71 on Wednesday night, bringing the best-of-five 2012 WNBA Finals to a 1-1 tie. The Lynx were led by Seimone Augustus and Maya Moore, who each put up 20-plus points in the win.

Augustus led the team with 27 points on 11-23 shooting, adding six rebounds, two assists and three steals. Moore was not far behind with 23 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals. Only one other member of the Lynx -- Lindsay Whalen with 14 -- scored in double digits, but it was more than enough to hold off the Fever.

The Fever were efficient on the night, shooting 48 percent from the field and 42 percent from three. But they were crushed on the glass, with the Lynx snatching 32 rebounds to the Fever's 20. As a result, the Fever took 22 less shots than the Lynx.

The series will swing to Indianapolis for the next two games. The teams will be back on the court for Game 3 on Friday night.
