The announcement of Kevin Love's broken hand sent shockwaves through the NBA, but for the Timberwolves, there is still plenty of work to be done as they look to establish their lineup this preseason. Friday, the 3-1 Wolves team take on a Bulls team they beat just under a week ago.
Last Saturday in Minneapolis served as foreshadowing for tonight's game as the Wolves were without Love due to an elbow injury. Meanwhile, the Bulls were without Luol Deng and Richard Hamilton, both of whom were suffering from 'general soreness'.
Nikola Pekovic was the stand out, finishing with 16 points and 17 rebounds. He and Joakim Noah battled for much of the night, and tomorrow should be no different.
The addition of Hamilton should help solidify the Bulls' roster. Leading the team with 15.3 points per game this preseason, Hamilton is proving he still has plenty left in the tank while Brandon Roy is looking to make a comeback of his own, scoring 13 or more points in three of his four games.
