Despite their victory in last week's game over the Purdue Boilermakers, the Minnesota Golden Gophers failed to receive any votes in the SB Nation BlogPoll. The Gophers collected some votes in Week 4 but have been shut out of the voting since then.
The Alabama Crimson Tide stayed atop the BlogPoll, receiving 60 of the 77 possible first-place votes. The Kansas State Wildcats jumped up two spots to the second spot in the poll, followed by fellow undefeated teams Oregon and Notre Dame. The LSU Tigers rounded out the top five.
The Georgia Bulldogs posted the biggest gain in the poll, jumping up nine spots to the sixth spot after their victory over Florida. The Gators fell from No. 2 to No. 7, with the Ohio State Buckeyes behind Florida at eight. A pair of ACC teams round out the top 10, with Florida State at number nine and Clemson at 10.
Nebraska was the only other Big Ten team to qualify for the Top 25, coming in at spot 21. Northwestern, Michigan and Penn State all received votes, but not enough to make the list.
