On Friday, the UFC will kick off its second show in the state of Minnesota with UFC on FX 5: Browne vs. Bigfoot. The main event features a Heavyweight tilt between up-and-comer Travis Browne and perennial contender Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva. Browne is riding a lot of hype and hopes to energize a Heavyweight division that has always seemed light on prospects, while "Bigfoot" will try and recover from a beatdown at the hands of No. 2 Cain Velasquez.
There is some Minnesota talent on the card, starting with wrestler Marcus LeVesseur on the Facebook preliminary card. He'll be taking on Carlo Prater. There's plenty of other exciting matchups throughout, including Jake Ellenberger vs. Jay Hieron in the evenings co-main event.
As far as the betting lines go, there looks to be some solid action on this card. "Bigfoot" could be a really solid pick at +185, as noted by SB Nation's Bloody Elbow. It's surprising that the lines are so in favor of Browne, who is still essentially unproven in the UFC. Outside of that fight, Danny Castillo is just the kind of person who could give Michael Johnson problems, and is worth a solid bet at +120. Underdog parlays aren't always the smartest thing, but lotting those two in with someone like Ellenberger could be a big one.
Below, we've got lines from the card, via bookmaker.eu and with a H/T to the aforementioned Bloody Elbow.
