College football rankings, Week 7: Alabama Crimson Tide keep top spot

The Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines are the only two Big Ten teams in the AP Top 25, while the Alabama Crimson Tide stay at No. 1.

No. 8 Ohio State and No. 25 Michigan are the only Big Ten teams in the AP Top 25. Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State and Northwestern all received votes.

The Alabama Crimson Tide still hold the top spot despite not playing Saturday. They received all 60 first-place votes. The Oregon Ducks also maintained their spot at No. 2 after their victory over the Washington Huskies. The third spot is now held by the South Carolina Gamecocks, who defeated the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. Florida and West Virginia round out the top five. Florida State and Georgia fell out of the top ten following losses Saturday.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers, who did not play Saturday, did not receive any votes.
