Adrian Peterson Is The Incredible Hulk (For Halloween)

Vikings superstar running back Adrian Peterson chose a very fitting Halloween costume this year.

Every defender in the National Football League knows that you should never make Adrian Peterson angry. You wouldn't like Adrian Peterson when he's angry.

The Minnesota Vikings held their Halloween party last night. We haven't seen any of the other costumes that were at the party, but it's safe to assume that Adrian Peterson won any potential contests. AP tweeted the picture above, and the phrase "nailed it" comes to mind.

The costume was complete with the black Hulk wig and of course the big green fake musc...oh yeah, that's right. It's Adrian freaking Peterson. He doesn't need fake muscles to look like the Incredible Hulk. He just painted himself green. Done and done. Fox Sports North asked quarterback Christian Ponder what he thought about Peterson's spot-on costume:

You never know how ripped he is until I saw him as The Hulk. He's unbelievable.

Um, yeah. Those who have watched Peterson this season know that the costume isn't far from the real thing. He leads the league in rushing with 775 yards and he's still just over 10 months removed from blowing out his knee towards the end of last season. If that isn't the sign of a superhero, I don't know what is.
