The Minnesota Timberwolves have lost two straight games but still sit in second place in the Northwest Division and sixth in the Western Conference despite the mini-losing streak. When they take on the Denver Nuggets this Wednesday, they'll have gone nearly a week between that game and their loss to the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.
The NBA starts the week off with a huge Western Conference match-up between the young and old. The Los Angeles Clippers travel to central Texas to take on the San Antonio Spurs Monday night. The Brooklyn Nets will make their first trip of the season to the west coast to face the Los Angeles Lakers. The week gets no easier for the Clippers who go north from San Antonio to face the Oklahoma City Thunder.
