After initially being listed as favorites, odds makers currently have the Minnesota Vikings as 1-point underdogs for this weekend's match-up against the Detroit Lions. Minnesota was initially listed as a 2.5-point favorite, but the odds makers are now leaning towards Detroit for the victory.
Percy Harvin's sprained ankle presumably plays into why the odds changed, as Minnesota's leading receiver isn't expected to play in the game. Christian Ponder has struggled passing the ball of late even with Harvin in the lineup, so odds makers presumably don't have faith in Minnesota to score much without him.
Detroit has also been particularly hot over the past few weeks, winning three of its past four games. Other than a 13-7 loss on the road to the Chicago Bears, one of the best teams in the league, the Lions have notched wins over the Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars in recent weeks. That certainly helps.
The over/under for the game, which starts at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon, is currently set at 47 points.
