The Minnesota Timberwolves avoided the Christmas slate and play only one game this week as they look right the ship after losing three of their last four games.
Wednesday, Dec. 26, 8:00 p.m. ET
Houston Rockets at Minnesota Timberwolves
Unlike the rested Wolves, the Rockets will enter this matchup fresh off of a Christmas matchup with the Chicago Bulls. James Harden leads Houston with 25.6 points per game, while Jeremy Lin contributes from the backcourt as well with 11.7 points and 6.2 assists. The Rockets own the NBA's top scoring offense.
The Timberwolves will look to counter with their 8th ranked defense and their healthy, rejuvenated lineup. Kevin Love is expected to return from eye injury as Ricky Rubio continues to work his way back into Minnesota's full rotation. Love is averaging 19.6 points and 13.9 rebounds this season. Rubio is struggling early on, averaging 5.3 assists but only 2.7 points per game.
