2012 NCAA Football Rankings: BlogPoll agrees with the BCS, Notre Dame and Alabama top the list

Notre Dame and Alabama are heading to the National Championship Game, which is good because the SB Nation BlogPoll voters agree that they are the two best teams in the country. They were the top two teams last week and kept their places, as did Oregon, who checks in at number three,

Notre Dame was always going to remain tops after a bye week and they did, collecting 42 of 56 first place votes. Alabama got 11 first place votes after defeating Georgia in a thrilling SEC Championship Game. Oregon had the week off, while Florida moved up to fourth and Kansas State parlayed a weekend win into fifth place. Georgia is down to sixth following its loss.

Besides Notre Dame and Alabama, Florida and Ohio State picked up first place votes. The Gators got one and the Buckeyes earned two, although they were just eighth in the poll.
