The 2012 NCAA Tournament bracket was released on Sunday and, after a couple of days of research, the predictions have been posted around the web. Those that have posted their idea of the perfect bracket haven't made the pick that most affects SB Nation Minnesota, however, as none of the experts have decided that the South Dakota St. Jackrabbits have a chance against the Baylor Bears.
Seth Davis opined during the selection show that the Jackrabbits have a chance against the Bears, but since his bracket hasn't been posted yet, there's no telling if he's decided to change his mind. The Bears are an easy pick considering they're led by an extremely athletic crew featuring Perry Jones III, Quincy Acy and Quincy Miller, but that didn't stop the Jackrabbits when they were able to trounce the Washington Huskies back in December.
Baylor might end up looking past the Jackrabbits, led by St. Cloud, Minn., native Nate Wolters. That woudn't be a good idea, however, as they shot nearly 40 percent from beyond the 3-point arc as a team while featuring a slew of shooters including Jordan Dykstra, Griffan Callahan, Brayden Calrson and Chad White.
It might not be the easiest pick to make, but if it were easy, they wouldn't called it March Madness.
