Wrestlemania XXVIII Results: Maria Menounos And Kelly Kelly Defeat Beth Phoenix And Eve

Did I say we had gotten three matches in during the first hour of Wrestlemania XXVIII?

Yeah, better make that four.

In a strange booking decision, the Divas tag team match went on much earlier than I had anticipated, but the result was definitely not a surprise, as the team of Extra's Maria Menounos and Kelly Kelly triumphed over Eve and Beth Phoenix. The match was better than expected, and one could even probably say that Menounos looked significantly better in the ring than her tag team partner did.

The end came when Menounos and Kelly shoved Beth Phoenix into Eve, knocking Eve off of the apron and allowing Menounos to roll her up for the victory.

And, yes, this match got more time than the first two matches put together. Why this is, I really don't know.

Half of the matches on the card have been completed in the first hour of the show. Maybe this year's Wrestlemania isn't a four-hour affair after all. It has been for the past few years, but maybe things have changed a bit.

Things will certainly slow down a little bit now, however, as it's time for the Hell in the Cell match between Triple H and the Undertaker with Shawn Michaels as the special referee.
