2012 US Open: Live Updates, TV Schedule, Watch Online And More

On Saturday, the third round of the 2012 U.S. Open will get underway at Olympic Club in San Francisco, California with the field officially cut down to 72 players. With the event being hosted on the west coast, the USGA will continue their tradition of primetime coverage of the event, which generated a great deal of success in 2008 at Torrey Pines and repeated at Pebble Beach in 2012.

The final group of Tigers Woods and Jim Furyk will not begin until 6:05 p.m., ET with nearly the entire round being televised in primetime. NBC will handle the tournament's coverage from here on with Dan Hicks and Johnny Miller anchoring an ensemble cast of other personalities such as Gary Koch, Roger Maltbie, Mark Rolfing, Peter Jacobsen and others.

Coming into the day, the coverage is set to begin at 4 p.m., ET and is expected to end at 10 p.m., ET but NBC will extend the coverage if Woods and Furyk have not completed their rounds by that time.

In addition to the television coverage, USOpen.com will be live streaming the action from two of the most exciting holes on the course -- No. 8 and No. 18 -- both of which provide two potential birdie opportunities. Visit their site for a complete list of TV, radio, and streaming schedules.
