U.S. Open Golf 2012: Despite Water Treatment, High Scores Still Expected In Round 3

Despite the water treatment on Saturday morning to try and soften up the course at Olympic Club, scores are still expected to soar through the third round of the 2012 U.S. Open. If the opening rounds of the day are any indication, the high scores are expected to stay this weekend as the first half of groups who have already started are a collective 38-over par on the day.

Alex Cejka is 1-under through five and 6-over for the tournament. Keegan Bradley, Adam Scott and Morgan Freeman are also at 6-over, seven shots back of the lead. Phil Mickelson is even-par through five, still at 7-over for the tournament.
