The Minnesota Twins snapped a four-game losing streak on Sunday with a win in a 15-inning marathon against the Milwaukee Brewers. They will begin a three-game series in Pittsburgh that could start a new winning streak on Tuesday.

Scott Diamond (5-2) will take the mound for Minnesota, facing the Pirates' Kevin Correia (2-6).

Joe Mauer, currently second among catchers in AL All-Star voting, might have to sit out with a bruised right quadriceps muscle after being kneed by Milwaukee's Rickie Weeks on Sunday. He is listed as day-to-day.

Minnesota has won five of its last six against Pittsburgh, but the last time these teams faced one another was in 2009.

Pittsburgh has won four in a row at home.
