WNBA Scores: Minnesota Lynx Stay Perfect, Take Out Previously Undefeated Connecticut Sun

The Minnesota Lynx haven't been challenged often this season, but Friday night's matchup looked pretty solid on paper as they were going on the road to face a fellow undefeated team in the Connecticut Sun. The game was good for three quarters, but in the end it was the Lynx that left with their perfect season still intact.

Minnesota, now 6-0 on the season, was led by 23 points from Seimone Augustus in the 85-72 victory. Rebekkah Brunson was perhaps more instrumental in the victory, however, as the post player picked up a double-double with 14points and 13 rebounds as the Lynx outrebounded Connecticut 12-4 in the final quarter.

Connecticut dropped to 3-1 on the season despite the best efforts of center Tina Charles as she scored 20 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. Renee Montgomery came off the bench to score 16 points, but made just four of her 15 shot attempts from the field.
