2012 Wimbledon Live TV Schedule For Monday

Week two of the 2012 Wimbledon Championships will begin on Monday morning in London, England, as the 16 remaining men's and women's players will each try to stay in the tournament and advance to the final eight.

Looking to continue his impressive run through men's tennis, No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic will take on fellow Serbian Viktor Troicki in the final match of the day on Centre Court. Kicking the day's action off on the marquee court well before Djokovic is scheduled to get things underway is fellow contender Roger Federer, who will face Belgium's Xavier Malisse at 7:00 a.m. ET.

In one of the day's more intriguing head-to-head men's matches, No. 5 seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will meet up with No. 10 seeded Mardy Fish of the United States. Fish advanced to the quarterfinal of last year's tournament before losing to runner-up Rafael Nadal, but has still yet to reach the final four of a Grand Slam in his career.

In the women's draw, No. 1 seed and 2012 French Open champ Maria Sharapova remains the favorite of a crowded bunch, but will need to get past Germany's Sabine Lisicki in her 7:00 a.m. match on Court No. 1 if she plans to pull off her second consecutive major title. Sliding under the radar a bit after a disastrous effort in last month's French Open, Serena Williams, the sixth-ranked women's seed, faces an extremely manageable opponent in unranked Kazakastan player Yaroslava Shvedova on Monday. Williams will open the action on Court No. 2 at 6:30 a.m..

Live television coverage of Monday's round of 16 can be seen on ESPN, and will start at 6:00 a.m. and run until 4:00 p.m. Along with an online stream available via Watch ESPN, Wimbledon.com will offer streaming video that also includes looped content peppered in between matches.

The full schedule and brackets can each be found at Wimbledon's official site.
