The top two teams in the Western Conference will face each other Thursday afternoon when the Minnesota Lynx play the Los Angeles Sparks.
Minnesota has the best record in the West (and in the league) at 13-2, while Los Angeles has the conference's second-best mark at 10-6.
The Lynx started 12-0 but have dropped two of their last six. The Sparks, meanwhile, have lost three straight.
These teams have played once this season, on May 24. The Lynx notched an eight-point win behind Seimone Augustus' 25 points, her second-highest total on the season. She is averaging 16.5 on the year.
Minnesota doesn't have a scorer in the top five in points per game, but it has nonetheless been the league's top offensive team this season. The Lynx are first in points, assists, field goal percentage and three-point percentage.
The Sparks' Candace Parker has won back-to-back Player of the Month awards.
Tip is set for 2 p.m Central.
