Wimbledon 2012: Gentlemen's Final Delayed By Rain

Roger Federer leads the 2012 Wimbledon Gentlemen's Final 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 in the third set, but he'll have to wait to keep that momentum going thanks to a rain delay.

Centre Court is covered up with a tarp and the All England Club just announced that due to more incoming rain showers, the roof will be closed and the match should resume in 20 to 30 minutes. Rain was in the forecast for this afternoon in London, so it's not unreasonable to wonder why the roof was not closed in the first place.

The delay came at a good time for Andy Murray, who'd lost all momentum from his first set win. He'll have a chance to catch his breath and re-focus on the task at hand. Murray is in his first-ever Wimbledon singles final and his fourth Grand Slam singles final overall, though he's yet to earn a Grand Slam title.
