Team USA Vs. Argentina: Preview, TV Time And More

Every single Summer Olympics, Team USA goes in expecting a gold medal in basketball. They've certainly had the all-time pedigree to go with the swagger, and Team USA in general has picked up 90 medals already this Olympics, so the basketball one should be an easy get, at least in the mind of analysts.

Many people felt the same way in 2004, but the dream was ruined by the eventual gold medalist Argentinians, who knocked out the United States in the semifinals. It's eight years later and the rematch is finally about to arrive on Friday night as Kevin Love and the rest of the strong Team USA squad will take on the still strong Argentinians. Team USA has yet to lose a game this Olympics, with only Lithuania coming close to taking them down so far.

The winner of Friday's match will face off against the winner of the earlier Russia-Spain match up in the gold medal game.

The game will be at North Greenwich Arena in London at 4:00 p.m. ET. You can see coverage of the game live on NBCOlympics.com as well as NBC's Olympic Basketball channel.
