Zach Parise Once Committed A Hit-And-Run, Wants To Trade Places With Jay-Z

Zach Parise is pretty well known in Minnesota already, but now that he's a member of the Minnesota Wild, the Minneapolis native is about to get known a lot better by the hockey faithful. The former New Jersey Devils wing took the first step toward getting all of that out in the open on Friday, too, in a tell-all interview with the Pioneer Press.

Parise talks about when he's grumpy, why he'd use a time machine to go back to the '80s, that one time he committed a hit-and-run (!?) and that he'd be a rapper if he could change bodies with anyone in the world.

When I first started to drive, my parents got me a (Chevy) Blazer. I was backing up and wasn't looking. I almost went up on someone's hood. My wheels were off the ground. I got out, looked and panicked. I drove off and tried to fix it myself. I won't say when or where.

No comment on that, so let's go to the trading places question!

If I could trade places for a day with anyone, maybe it'd be Jay-Z. He's got a lot going on. He's got that empire. It'd be interesting to see.

There are plenty of reasons to trade places with Jay-Z, though I don't think my top option would be because of his "empire." I'm sure there are plenty of empires around the world more interesting to see than Jay-Z's, right?
