Despite adding Greg Stiemsma and Dante Cunningham already this offseason, the Minnesota Timberwolves are reportedly still looking for frontcourt depth behind Kevin Love and Nikola Pekovic, and according to Darren Wolfson of Channel 5 and ESPN 1500 Radio in Minneapolis, they could have interest in Mehmet Okur:

Okur played in 17 games for New Jersey last season. He was traded to Portland as part of a trade that sent Gerald Wallace to New Jersey, but he didn't appear in a game for the Blazers and was waived in March. Okur has played in only 30 games the last two seasons. His last full season in Utah in 2009-10, he averaged 13.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Okur is also reportedly considering an offer to play in his native Turkey next season.
