Twins Fan Allegedly Steals Car, Doesn't Know Enough About Cleveland Indians

We're hoping there aren't any car thieves reading SB Nation Minnesota looking for advice on their next caper but, just in case, we're here to help. If you're planning to steal a car wearing a Minnesota Twins shirt, make sure said car's keychain doesn't have a Cleveland Indians logo on it.

That's apparently what did in an alleged 17-year-old car thief from Chipewa Falls, Wis., anyway, as officers used those two things to determine that the car he was driving didn't actually belong to him.

Dumholt identified himself as an 18-year-old from Rice Lake, providing officers with what turned out to be a false name. Noticing that Dumholt was wearing a Twins shirt but had a Cleveland Indians key lanyard, officers questioned him about those teams. He appeared to know little about the Indians, the Herald report said.

So, um ... yeah.
