Coming off a series loss to the Oakland Athletics, the task doesn't get any easier for the Minnesota Twins, who begin a four-game set at the AL West-leading Texas Rangers tonight.

The Rangers (72-51) have taken five of their last six against the Twins and have won four of their last five overall. Third baseman Adrian Beltre looks to feast on Twins pitching, coming off a three-homer night Wednesday.

One bright spot for the Twins (51-72) this season has been Scott Diamond, who gets the call on the mound tonight. Diamond has pitched to a 10-5 record with a 2.95 ERA. He hasn't struck out a ton, with only 70 in 128.0 innings, but he's only allowed a startling 18 walks this season.

The Rangers counter with Roy Oswalt, who has struggled to a 6.04 ERA since joining the team midseason. He was moved to the bullpen after the trade for Ryan Dempster but will get a start tonight.

Game Date & Time: Thursday, Aug. 23, 7:05 p.m. CT
