Team USA Vs. Argentina Final Score: United States Returns To Form By Defeating Argentina, 126-97

On Monday, The United States Men's Basketball team rebounded from a close-call against Lithuania on Saturday by dominating Argentina in the final game of group play, 126-97.

While the final score may have displayed a comfortable margin, the USA looked to be in a similar struggle leading by a single point at half-time.

However, after a dominating third quarter which saw the United States outscore their opponents by a margin of 42-17, Team USA re-established the impressive style of play that was expecting of them.

Kevin Durant ended with a game-high 28 points in 22:16 played, while Chris Paul finished with 17 points in a team-high 25 minutes played. Lebron James also added 18 points in 21:28 minutes played, while Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love contributed 13 points in 15:21 played.

Team USA finished the group stage as the top team winning all five games and collecting all ten possible points. They will open the quarterfinal stage of the tournament on Wednesday against Australia.
