The Minnesota Lynx are set to host their playoff opener on Friday night, and if you happen to be up to date on what Minnesota Timberwolves' Kevin Love is up to, you might have scored some free tickets from him. As reported to The Pioneer Press, Love bought 500 upper-level tickets for the Lynx's game against Seattle on Friday and gave them away on Tuesday.

Love will be attending himself, and gave away a pair of tickets to the first 250 fans to call in to the Lynx ticket office starting at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Love did this to support the Lynx, who finished with a WNBA-best 27-7 record this year. It's the second straight year in which they've been the NBA's best team, earning the No. 1 seed in the league and homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs.

Last year, T'Wolves coach Rick Adelman and general manager David Kahn both did similar giveaways to coincide with the Lynx's championship run. According to the piece, the Vikings, Twins and Wild all did it in support of the Lynx as well.
