U.S. Open 2012: Women's Final Postponed, Murray Leads Berdych In Third Set

The 2012 U.S. Open women's final will not be played on Saturday evening. According to the U.S. Open's official website, the match between fourth seeded Serena Williams and top seeded Victoria Azarenka will be delayed until Sunday due to the heavy rain and winds in the forecast. The starting time will be announced by 7 p.m. ET this evening. Azarenka has never before played in an Open final, while Williams will be trying to capture her fourth Open title.

Neither men's semifinal will be rescheduled, as No. 3 Andy Murray and No. 6 Tomas Berdych are currently underway with No. 4 David Ferrer still scheduled to face No. 2 Novak Djokovic after the first semi-final concludes. Murray currently leads 4-1 in the third set as the match is tied at a set apiece.
