SB Nation's Dan Kadar released his latest mock draft on Monday, and he has the Minnesota Vikings selecting Tennessee WR with the 23rd overall pick.

The Vikings are perilously thin at the receiver position, and Percy Harvin's contract situation is still up in the air, so a dynamic playmaker like Patterson would be a good fit for the development of Christian Ponder:

Patterson is an excellent outside receiver who has the speed to beat defenders deep but the quickness to break off his routes on a comeback. He's the kind of player that can be used in a variety of ways with the ball in his hands.

Minnesota's surprise playoff run was one of the feel-good stories of 2012, but they need more offensive weapons not named Adrian Peterson if they want to play in January again. There are a number of receivers who could be available at this spot, including Cal's Keenan Allen, Clemson's DeAndre Hopkins and USC's Robert Woods.
