There's still a little time left in the morning for you to get your picks in for this year's NCAA Tournament. Since most pools worth their salt don't make you submit one until just before the first game has started, you can still get one filled out.
The action gets underway at 12:15 p.m. ET with third-ranked Michigan State taking on Valparaiso in Auburn Hills, MI. Shortly thereafter, about 25 minutes to be exact, a popular upset pick -- 11th-seeded Bucknell taking on sixth-seeded Butler -- tips in Lexington, Ky.
Of the 18 games on Thursday, two involve one seeds with Gonzaga taking on 16th seeded Southern in Salt Lake City at 4:10 p.m. ET. Top seeded Louisville will have to travel considerably less distance to Lexington to face off against their first round opponent, North Carolina A&T.
Perhaps the most intriguing and somewhat controversial match-up on the day will take place at 7:27 p.m. ET when UNLV faces off against Cal. Not only does this go against a generally accepted rule of re-matches from the regular season but the lower seeded Cal will play just minutes from their campus when they face off in San Jose.
