Purdue Boilermakers 28, Minnesota Golden Gophers 9 - Getting Caught Up

Technical difficulties on my end have kept the updates from flowing here, but it looks like I’m back, so let’s get you caught up.

The Gophers finally dented the scoreboard with a 35-yard field goal by Eric Ellestad with 5:00 left in the third quarter. They followed that up by actually. . .get this. . .getting into the end zone via an 11-yard touchdown pass from Adam Weber to Bryant Allen, making the score 21-9 in favor of Purdue after an unsuccessful two-point attempt.

The Boilermakers then answered with another touchdown, Rob Henry’s third rushing score of the day, to make it 28-9.

The Gophers are terrible, and it doesn’t look to be getting any better any time soon.
