Gophers At Wolverines: Michigan Scores Again, Leads 21-0

The Minnesota Golden Gophers are in big, big trouble at the Big House.

The Michigan Wolverines started their most recent drive with their worst field position of the day, beginning at their own 15-yard line. However, that didn't make a whole lot of difference, as the Wolverines continue to shred the Minnesota defense like tissue paper.

Michigan used a nice combination of running and passing to move the ball down the field, and got down to the Minnesota 17-yard line when the first quarter came to an end. On the first play of the second quarter, Michigan running back Vincent Smith took a pitch from Denard Robinson, and instead of running, lofted a pass to Drew Dileo for a 17-yard touchdown pass.

As we get into the third quarter of play, the Wolverines have stopped the Gophers again, and will take possession at their own 31. The Gophers actually picked up their first first down of the afternoon on the drive, but didn't do a whole lot more than that.
